DRIVING INSTRUCTOR FUNDING

Become a driving instructor ;START EARNING FROM £1,400;

Ever fancy being a driving instructor?

There has never been a better time than now to train and become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Why become an Approved Driving Instructor?

Because funding from both Central Government and Europe has become available to pay towards all or part of your ADI training costs.

Who is eligible? The criteria depends on your own personal circumstances, however there are a few key points that will quickly determine if you are able to access this funding.

Instructor Funding

This fund is available if:

i) Iou are currently out of employment and by receiving this training you will become employed
ii) If you are in employment and are looking for a career change.
iii) If you are or have been made redundant.

If you're in full time employment then it is most unlikely that you will receive more than 50% matched funding.

Claiming Benefits:

If you currently in receipt of benefits then you may be eligible for further funding to pay the balance of the training costs, and the amount would depend on many factors including;

  • What type of benefits are you receiving?
  • How long you have been receiving benefits.
  • Are you claiming Incapacity or Lone Parent benefit?

The funding system is very complex and no two applications are the same. To apply for funding whilst on benefits you must first speak to your local Job Centre Plus advisor asking for information on available funding streams in your area.

On all funding issues and/or to find out more information about joining this course please call the training facility direct on 0800 298 3012.
